The Honourable Sinclair M. Stevens, P.C., Q.C., LL.B., B.A.
Chairman
Mr. Stevens has served as Chairman and CEO of Planet since Planet's inception in 1994. A graduate from Osgoode Hall, Canada's leading law school, Mr. Stevens was a Member of Parliament (Canadian Federal Government) from 1972 - 1988 and served as president of the Treasury Board of Canada in 1979 - 1980 and as Minister of Regional Industrial Expansion between 1984 - 1986. Mr. Stevens is also Chairman of Georgian Bancorp inc., Planet's parent company, an investment banking concern with interests in Canada, the USA and the Turks and Caicos Islands, British West Indies. In the financial world, Mr. Stevens is known as being the creator and designer of the zero coupon bonds or strip bonds.
